“I give to POWER for the same reason I give to church: because these investments sustain and enhance my life.  POWER is where I am most alive. It's my growing edge. I have met, worked with, and been inspired by people through POWER that I would have never been able to meet otherwise.”

Looking for Another Way to Give?        Become a POWER Sustainer!

"Sustain me, my God, according to your promise, and I will live; do not let my hopes be dashed." Psalm 119

In 2013, we placed pressure on City Council resulting in a living wage ballot measure. We helped launch the movement for a fight for a fair funding formula for public education. We have kept hope and pressure alive for comprehensive federal immigration reform. Imagine what we can do with your support in 2014.

Through our campaigns for economic justice, good schools, and immigration reform, POWER is shining a light on inequality in Philadelphia and challenging the political status quo.  We rely on individual contributions from people like you to remain independent and true to our calling.

As we move into our third year, POWER has launched a Sustainers Campaign, inviting 200 people to give $50 per month for two years. We are off to a great start! Sustainers help ensure that POWER continues fighting for a living wage expansion, a fair school funding formula and just treatment for the undocumented in 2014.
