Hi Trekker,

On Friday 2nd March 2012 over 1,200 Sydney walkers will trek a stunning 50 - 100 kilometers from Palm Beach to Coogee, in under 36 hours, to raise funds for The Fred Hollows Foundation.

And 600 of these trekkers will trek & party all night on the wonder drug of walking. Doctors agree that the exercise of walking is a fix all medicine, with NO bad side effects. http://www.doctorshangout.com

“We hope to raise over a million dollars for The Fred Hollows Foundation, which represents restoring sight to nearly 40,000 people. And the endorphine release from walking all night is magic!” says Di Westaway, Director of Wild Women On Top.

The night burst of Coastrek starts at 6pm at Balmoral, and you will walk around the historic harbour foreshore, across Sydney’s majestic Harbour Bridge at sunset, around the iconic Opera House to Mrs Macquarie’s Chair.

You can pick up a cappuccino at Rose Bay, where you will be greeted by sparklers, poppers and enthusiastic volunteers cheering you on with glow sticks and dark chocolate. Then, walk under the moon lit evening to the spectacular cliffs of South Head and Diamond Bay, the soft sands of Bondi, Tamarama, Bronte and the stunning headland of Clovelly. Most of you will greet the sunrise over the Pacific Ocean looking out to Wedding Cake Island from just above the historic Wylies Baths at Coogee…what better place is there to soothe those great legs!!

This is truly a spectacular night adventure in the name of health, fitness and The Fred Hollows Foundation.

For just $25, sight can be restored in developing countries, so your efforts will really make a difference to people’s lives. “This is a really significant motivator when you start to get sore feet.” says Di Westaway.

One week to go until registrations close – so if you haven't already registered your team for this awesome event, go for it!

Sign up now and don’t be disappointed!!

Look forward to seeing you out on the track!
