Ontario skaters on the international scene!

The short track Canadian Open Championships wrapped up January 18th and Oakville skater Patrick Duffy finished 3rd! With that he has punched his ticket to Moscow for his first World Championships (as well as World Cups 5 & 6).

Other Canadian skaters at the trials were William Preudhomme, Keri Morrison, Alphonse Ouimette, Alex Hale and Renee Steenge.

We have many Ontario skaters participating in the long track world cups and single distance championships too. Heading to Norway for World Cup #5 are Jordan Belchos, Ivanie Blondin, Vincent De Haître, Robert Watson and Isabelle Weidemann who is making her senior world cup debut while still a junior age athlete!

Vincent, Alexandra Ianculescu and Richard MacLennan are off to long track World Cup #6 in the Netherlands and Jordan, Vincent, Robert and Ivanie will be competing at the World Single Distance long track Championships as well.

Congratulations to all of our skaters competing on the international stage!
