New Works: Heart of the Earth Emerging
This image came to me during a Cosmic Cowgirls Red Thread painting day earlier this year. We began our painting day with a meditation around opening our hearts.
During the meditation, I saw the face of a woman emerging slowly through layers of earth. Her eyes were closed and yet I could tell she was aware of everything - every living thing.
Crow was calling to her, talking to her, telling her about what has been happening on her planet. She was emerging and listening. She is the heart of our planet, our mother, and she hears all that we do.

A bountiful autumn to all of you!
I love this time of year with the warm Indian summer days because it means Halloween is coming. This is a major holiday in my household which involves much creativity and planning. This year a hot pink witch's hat has magically appeared and clearly needs a corresponding outfit. Pictures will be posted!
New Works: The Doorway of Abundance & Prosperity
I recently was working - struggling one might say - to shift my attitudes about abundance, prosperity, and wealth. Musing about how I hold ‘making money’ and how one does this with intention.
Well, my head can only hold so much pondering at one time, as you might imagine, so I chose a canvas and began manifesting my intention. What emerged was a vision of the Doorway of Abundance and Prosperity.
On either side of the doorway are two columns of molded spirals coated with gold. The door is covered with blooming roses painted over a background of money. As the doors opens there is a collection of little items: tickets to a Paris museum, a tube ticket from London, an image of Mickey Mouse - memories of travels I have taken. They create the ‘soil’ upon which rests a red sparkly ‘Dorothy’ shoe.
The shoe is the root of a tree - an allegory of a money tree with women's faces at the top from various international currencies. In the arms of the tree are five diamond-like golden moons. I feel myself step through the door, shedding old patterns while creating new space in my life for ever-increasing spirals of abundance, prosperity, and wealth.
