PCR development
What’s new in Part A 2017

Trade associations, manufacturers and others seeking to develop PCRs can work with any of the POC members following the POC process.

Now in its third release, Part A is updated annually. This year, the Technical Advisory Board (TAB) reviewed more than one hundred comments. Our comment period coincided with the 2016 USGBC EPD guidance comment period. The TAB and POC members submitted comments, which you can read about here. As a result, we adopted some components into Part A. Learn what’s new

Check the North American PCR Catalog for available PCRs.
In 2016, 12 PCRs expired that did not get renewed. Currently, there are 49 PCRs, 10 of these have already expired or will be expiring in 2017. There is a lot of opportunity to start standardizing now. Contact us to create a new, or renew an expiring PCR using the Consortium structured and aligned PCR development model.

Remember, all POC member customers with EPDs get a free listing in the SM Transparency Catalog. Check out your company's listing and learn how to add all your products with transparency information.
