"Seeking to do everything for the glory of God"

We hope you like the new format for our Sunday program!  If you’re on our OEFC email list, you will receive the announcements weekly via an Email Newsletter.  If you do not have access to email or are not on our list yet, you can pick up a printed copy of them in the Foyer (only a limited number are printed).  Please be patient as we all adjust to these changes and share your comments with us via email.

Church Life

THANKSGIVING EVE SERVICE:  This year we will be doing something new…a Thanksgiving Eve Service at the Church on Wednesday, Nov. 23rd at 7 PM.  Save the date for this more intimate, informal time of praise & thanksgiving, with music and testimonies. (Should last less than 1 hour.)

ABF CLASS…  We recently started a new Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF) class, Sunday mornings, 9:00-9:45 AM, in the Upper Room (upstairs at the end of the hall on the left).  This class is focusing on the prayers that Paul prayed in his letters.  Paul’s prayers were far deeper than physical needs, but rather went to the core of the Christian relationship with God.  Please join us as we study Paul’s prayers and spend time praying them, trying to grasp the depths of the riches of God.  The class is led by Jeff Kreifels.  Each week we will look at new prayers, so if you miss a week or more, it’s ok – just join us whenever you can.

OEFC PRAYER TEAM…  If you’d like to join our Prayer Team, praying for the needs shared by our OEFC Family, please see Donna Raaberg or make note of it on your yellow Welcome card.  Prayer requests are sent out by email to our Pastors, Elders and our wonderful team of Prayer Warriors throughout the week.

THANKS ‘GIVING’    THANKS ‘LIVING’  (using tracts)  We are nearing the special time of celebrating with thankful hearts who God is and all that He does for us.  The greatest cause for Thanks giving is God’s merciful love for each person in sending His Son to pay the cost of our sin debt.  Do you have family, friends, neighbors who need to personally put their trust in this gracious goodness of God’s?

Five different Thanksgiving tracts, including one for children, are available to take and share.  May God richly bless you and the receiver!

NURSERY WORKERS…REMINDER:   Please be present and prompt (9:45 AM) when it is your turn to serve in the nursery.  If you need to miss your Sunday, please find someone to replace you ahead of time and then notify Britney Cole, our NEW Nursery Coordinator.  We need to know who you have traded dates with.

A NOTE OF THANKS…

To all my wonderful friends at OEFC,
Just a note to let you all know how very much I love and appreciate the beautiful cards, the flowers and the prayers and wishes for a speedy recovery.
My love to you all.   – Florence

Please continue to pray for healing and restored strength for Florence
