COLOR + SHAPE = SPACE
A Site-Specific Installation Especially for Basta Pasta
Please join me at a reception Sunday, April 9th 4pm – 5:30pm
at Basta Pasta, 37 W 17th St, New York, NY 10011
Over 20 pieces of artwork have been created especially for Basta Pasta
the renowned Japanese-Italian restaurant in the heart of the Flatiron district of New York City.
You’ll see art throughout the restaurant:over the bar, on the side walls, in the back room.
You’ll see volumes that seem to float in space.
The entire restaurant becomes the canvas.
Basta Pasta was established in Tokyo in 1985 and modeled after the TV program Iron Chef
as a totally open Kitchen Theater. New York's Basta Pasta opened in 1990.
