This special continuing education session covers in-depth gross anatomy of the equine stifle joint followed by both standard and special techniques for performing the standing clinical examination of the stifle using needle arthroscopy (18-gauge Biovision NeedleView™ arthroscope). 
  • The session will focus on hands-on examination of the equine stifle using the needle arthroscope on cadaver limbs. 
  • This will be followed by a live demonstration of the standing stifle diagnostic. 
The goal of the course is for participants to go back to their practices and be able to perform the techniques


• Combines surgery and sports medicine 
• Didactic and wet-lab settings 
• Limited to 12 participants
