Diagnostic Needle Arthroscopy with
High Res 18ga (1.2mm O.D.) Arthroscope
Explore Standing Equine Joint Diagnostics in Germany this Summer!

"If you can inject a joint, you can use
NeedleView for
standing diagnostics."
–Josh Zacharias, DVM, MS, DACVS, DACVSMR

Use the needle arthroscope for standing/conscious diagnostic imaging in:
  • Carpus
  • Cervical vertebrae
  • Coffin
  • Fetlock
  • Hock
  • Navicular bursa
  • Stifle

arthroscope is so intuitive, even
1st-year vet students quickly become comfortable with the technology. Watch what happened when we let a dozen vet students from Colorado State University try it for standing stifle diagnostics.

This special continuing education session covers in-depth gross anatomy of the equine stifle joint followed by both standard and special techniques for performing the standing clinical examination of the stifle using needle arthroscopy (18-gauge Biovision NeedleView™ arthroscope).
  • The session will focus on hands-on examination of the equine stifle using the needle arthroscope on cadaver limbs.
  • This will be followed by a live demonstration of the standing stifle diagnostic.
The goal of the course is for participants to go back to their practices and be able to perform the techniques

• Combines surgery and sports medicine
• Didactic and wet-lab settings
• Limited to 12 participants

The effectiveness of the NeedleView™ modality as a tool for comprehensive, conclusive diagnosis is backed by a ground-breaking peer-reviewed study:
