‘Broadway Limited’ HO Scale at Museum

Wm. K. Walthers, Inc.’s new HO scale Broadway Limited passenger train is now operating at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. Based on equipment in service on the famed Broadway Limited from 1953 to 1968, the train includes nine all-new cars, many of which were also used on other Pennsylvania streamliners.

Large steam engines pulling streamlined passenger trains – sleek diesel locomotives in front of hot-shot freight trains – switchers busily sorting freight cars in the yards – mainline tracks snaking through rocky forested hills and scenic clear lakes.  

East Lancashire Rwy: Rail Ale Trail

Joining the dots from station to station and pub to pub, the Rail Ale Trail is a great way of spending a day out with friends or family and visit some genuine local free houses, learn about the areas’ history and of course sample some of the fine ales that are being produced in this part of the country.
