TPI Preservation Awards Applications Available

Since 1982, Tampa Preservation, Inc. has been recognizing significant contributions to the preservation of Tampa’s historic resources through our Annual Award Program. TPI invites members of the community to submit nominations for outstanding historic preservation projects, programs and achievements by individuals and organizations. Awards are presented at the TPI annual awards ceremony in May, including the presentation of the Preserved Banners. Restoration/ rehabilitation projects related to buildings and structures built before 1963 are eligible for nomination. Projects must conform to the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation.

Download the TPI_2013 Award Application and show off your restoration or rehabilitation project, recognize an individual that has made a substantial contribution to saving Tampa’s history, or praise a project that educates about preservation. Award nominations may be submitted via mail or email.

Deadline for submittals is February 1, 2013.
