Considering Joining Grounded Solutions Network for the First Time?

There has never been a better time to become a member of Grounded Solutions Network.

In 2016, our first year after merging the National Community Land Trust Network and Cornerstone Partnership, membership grew by 12% over the previous year, an indication that our intent to join forces and expand our network of permanently affordable housing providers nationwide is succeeding.

Today, we invite new members to join Grounded Solutions Network at the introductory rate of $100.
With your new membership, you’ll receive access to technical advice, peer-to-peer connections, member-only trainings and resources, discounted registration fees for conferences and events, ability to apply for awards and grants and participation in select committees and organizational governance.

We asked members why they decided to join Grounded Solutions, and how their organizations benefit from being a part of our network.

Here are a few of their testimonies:

“Grounded Solutions Network provides the best training and networking opportunities for our organization’s board and staff members regarding community land trust housing and other community-based, innovative housing solutions. Period.”
– Jeff Corey, One Roof Community Housing

“What I value about Grounded Solutions Network is that it’s a hub of information and resources for permanently affordable housing! The staff is amazing…very experienced in the field of affordable housing. They are always willing to help find answers to your questions.”
– Jennifer Minnick, Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County

“Grounded Solutions Network is a unique organization serving not-for-profits [and programs] involved in a very specialized type of affordable housing. It includes a staff of extremely talented, knowledgeable professionals who are dedicated to helping CLTs achieve their mission”
– Joe D’Lando, Uniondale Community Land Trust

“A CLT is a paradigm shift in providing affordable housing for families. Grounded Solutions Network demonstrates the expertise in guiding our non-profit on the roadmap to creating this new opportunity.”
-Terry Williams, Wyoming Family Home Ownership Program

Earlier this month, 50 of Grounded Solutions Network board members, staff members, program members, and resident ambassadors met with roughly 100 Congressional offices in order to educate them on shared equity homeownership and the importance of lasting affordability. We advocated for HUD funding—specifically for HOME, CDBG, and SHOP—and communicated that tax reform should benefit lower income households and not injure the Low Income Housing Tax Credit and New Market Tax Credit programs.
