The Lohez 9/11 Foundation Featured in Exhibits at the Reopened 9/11 Tribute Museum
The Lohez 9/11 Foundation is honored to be featured among the outstanding exhibits at the 9/11 Tribute Museum.
A project of the nonprofit September 11 Families' Association, the 9/11 Tribute Museum was co-founded in 2006 by Lee Ielpi, Board President, and Jennifer Adams, Chief Executive Officer. Through walking tours, exhibitions, programs and online resources, the 9/11 Tribute Museum connects visitors from around the world with people who directly experienced the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center on February 26, 1993 and September 11, 2001.
The Lohez 9/11 Foundation is proud of its geographical, disciplinary and cultural diversity. By partnering with universities in France, China and the United States, the Lohez 9/11 Scholarship Foundation serves as a cultural link among these nations - and by extension, to Europe. The Scholarship Foundation alumni include lawyers, diplomats, journalists, global policy advisers, engineers and a soon-to-be professor, from across our geographical spectrum.
The 9/11 Tribute Museum shares its mission and goals with The Lohez 9/11 Foundation, in terms of promoting international education and understanding. It is a mission to which both organizations are committed, and one which we pursue with a true passion. As Foundation President Dening Wu Lohez puts it, "The spirit and mission of the Lohez 9/11 Foundation and the 9/11 Tribute Museum are closely aligned, being deeply concerned with education and cultural exchange, as well as with the process of remembrance and renewal."
In a recent Huffington Post article about the Museum's reopening, Todd Fine wrote, “The message … is to ground all of our actions in service and love, with the faith that a better world will emerge in the ripples. The Tribute Museum has shown great wisdom and courage in expressing this beautiful – even spiritually perfect – message."
