ICLEI South Asia E-News

June 2019

Emani Kumar
Deputy Secretary General, ICLEI and Executive Director, ICLEI South Asia

Warm greetings to all our readers!

The past month witnessed several interesting and remarkable activities such as the closure workshop for the Integrated Resource Management in Asian Cities - The Urban Nexus project.  Launched in India in May 2016, the project successfully promoted the adoption of Nexus approaches in urban development planning processes in Indian cities. It specifically focused on Nexus sectors such as water, energy and food security.

This newsletter also features the Country Engagement Leads Meet under the Climate and Development Knowledge Network programme. At the workshop, the theme leads discussed concepts and approaches for the in-country engagements.

We also have a new blog with insights into the themes covered at the Resilient Cities Asia-Pacific Congress that was held in April in New Delhi.
