We hope that the new year is off to a great start for you. While we think that its critical to always focus forward, it's still nice to spend some time reflecting on what we have already accomplished. We are proud to say that in 2014, we were able to:
  • Reach over 98,000 people through educational events, blogs, articles, and our website
  • Visit 20 different states to provide cancer survivorship education (states in grey above)
  • Train 144 health care professionals extensively on employment, disability insurance, and health insurance issues through 8 In-Service Trainings
  • Provide 121 presentations on cancer survivorship issues
2015 promises to be even more productive and we look forward to working with you!

From Our Partners

Cancer and Careers and Pfizer Inc., conducted a survey of female breast cancer patients and survivors who have worked or looked for work since their diagnosis, as well as employers and health care professionals who treat breast cancer patients.  The survey, titled Breast Cancer: A Story Half Told, Supporting Workplace Conversations highlights that there are gaps in the current conversation about breast cancer and the workplace.

This survey further highlights the need for educational programs on navigating work and cancer, provided by Triage Cancer and Cancer and Careers.
