Vireo, Conference site upgrades continue

TDL technical staff continue to implement upgrades to all TDL-hosted Vireo installations and conference websites using Open Conference Systems.

To date, the University of Texas, Texas A&M International, and the University of Houston have been upgraded to Vireo 1.8, and the remaining upgrades are set to take place in the next few weeks.

Additionally, all conference websites using Open Conference Systems are undergoing upgrades to the latest version of OCS. Conference Managers can expect to be contacted by a TDL System Administrator prior to the upgrade.

Upcoming Events

Mark your calendars for the following upcoming events:
  • The next TDL Forum, a monthly conference call for keeping members connected, will take place  Wednesday, April 17 at 10:30 AM. Instructions for joining the meeting are available on the TDL website.
  • The US ETD Association Conference for 2013 is coming up on July 24-26 in Claremont, CA. The conference serves ETD professionals from graduate schools, libraries, and academic computing, and TDL will be there!
  • The 2013 DLF Forum, sponsored by the Digital Library Federation, will be held in Austin, TX on November 3-6. The conference is an annual meeting for DLF members and also an opportunity for digital library practitioners “to share experiences and practices and to support a broad level of information-sharing.”
