Previous events have supported various international service-learning opportunities for students at the College of Charleston School of Business. Student participants in Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE), in partnership with Possibilities Without Borders, have successfully implemented programs including:
2013 - Kick It Forward
To provide children the necessary supplies to attend school using soccer as an outreach tool, host a business plan competition in universities, create business opportunities for women through a micro-loan program in Cameroon.
2012 - Water for Kenya
To assist in the international water crisis by purchasing a Water Missions International\u2019s water filtration and work with community leaders in Bidii, Kenya to maximize the technology.
2011 - Project Harambee
To implement medical outreaches in rural Kenyan villages.
2010 - Bandage for Africa
To make surplus medical supplies and equipment available to one of only two medical universities in Cameroon.
