Three departments within the Office of the Dean for Research (DFR) will relocate to 87 Prospect Ave. on Jan. 21: - Office of Research and Project Administration

The move will bring all of DFR's six offices into two buildings, 87 and 91 Prospect Ave.

Mellon Foundation Sawyer Seminars application due Jan. 25
The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Sawyer Seminars on the Comparative Study of Cultures provides support for comparative research on historical and contemporary topics of major scholarly significance. Princeton is invited to submit a single proposal for a Sawyer seminar. Departments and programs that wish to be considered as the University's designated applicant must submit a 2 to 3 page pre-proposal via ORPA’s limited submission portal on or before Jan. 25, 2013. Intellectual Property Accelerator Fund awards announced
Princeton University has awarded funds to nine faculty research groups
developing new technologies with the potential to benefit society. The

Dean Smith to remain in position through June 2013
Dean for Research A.J. Stewart Smith, scheduled to become Vice President for the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory on January 1, will remain in his current position through June 2013 while a committee continues the search for his replacement.
