In December, researchers from Princeton University and collaborating institutions will launch an instrument called SPIDER into the skies above Antarctica to study the birth of the Universe. Follow the project on the SPIDER blog.
Researchers from Princeton University and the University of California-San Diego (UCSD) found that an immune-system protein called MHCI, or major histocompatibility complex class I, moonlights in the nervous system to help regulate the number of synapses, which transmit signals between neurons.

A new computational model developed in the laboratory of Salvatore Torquato, a professor of chemistry at Princeton University, offers a way to probe the conditions surrounding tumor dormancy and the switch to a malignant (proliferative) state.

Increasing the number of women in decision-making groups isn't necessarily enough to give them greater power, according to researchers at Princeton University and Brigham Young University.
