The Office of the Dean for Research administers and supports the University's research activities by providing resources and guidance.


Dean for Research innovation funds

Three new funding programs are now available for researchers pursuing ideas and collaborations that push the boundaries of conventional research. These competitions encourage bold research in the natural sciences, collaboration between artists and scientists or engineers, and new partnerships with industry. Learn more.

Submission deadline November 22, 2013. 

Flood risk study receives $2.3M Rockefeller Foundation award

Princeton researchers are part of a flood risk study that has received $2.3 million in funding from the Rockefeller Foundation. The project, "New Directions in Coastal Resilient Design Strategies -- Four Integrated Designs," is a comprehensive study of the flood risks of vulnerable coastal populations in areas affected by Hurricane Sandy. Survey Research Center spotlight

The Survey Research Center provides students, administrators and faculty members with assistance in designing and implementing surveys for research purposes. This center is one of many Princeton research facilities that are available to researchers across disciplines and departments. Learn more.

Laboratory Learning Program centralizes application process

Effective for 2013-2014, there is a new process for high school students to seek individual research opportunities at Princeton. Students and faculty interested in this program may learn more on the Laboratory Learning Program website and the accompanying frequently asked questions.
