Our 2018 kick-off includes partner projects with the Plant Milk Challenge,
Vegan Strong Race Car, World Vegan Mac 'n Cheese Championship, and more!
Plant Milk Challenge
We kicked off the New Year sponsoring the 10-Day #PlantMilkChallenge, co-organized by Ashley Capps and her campaigns Mothers Against Dairy and Milk Hurts, and in partnership with Compassion Champs.
This free, fun, and informative challenge provided a wide variety of resources, tips, recipes, and recommendations for "taking the plunge" into dairy-free living.
Participants were educated on the harms of dairy to animals, health, and the planet. They also received daily motivational videos and guidance from world class and Olympic plant-based athletes.
The Plant Milk Challenge was a huge success in its first year. More than 1,600 pledges participated, many of whom vowed to go fully vegan. Stay tuned for future expansion.
Vegan Strong Fast-Tracking Veganism
Shifting into overdrive, we're back again after debuting the first ever vegan-themed race car last year with our Vegan Powered Race Campaign.
This year, we are partnering with Compassion Over Killing and their Try Veg campaign to fully sponsor multiple races this season, including free vegan food and literature giveaways at select tracks.
Join this year's Vegan Strong Race Car action with professional driver and dedicated activist for animal and environmental justice, racing and media sensation Leilani Münter.
The first race is around the corner on Saturday, February 10th at Daytona International Speedway.
Watch live coverage starting at 4:30pm EST on Fox Sports 1 and keep the conversation moving with #VeganStrong and #BodyByVegan. Sign up for updates and/or follow Leilani on Facebook.

World Vegan Mac 'N Cheese Championship & More
Near Baltimore? Don't miss this three-part vegan extravaganza. We are proud to continue our strong support for the Baltimore area -- in this case sponsoring all three distinct but coordinated events.
Our friends, and the founders of Vegan SoulFest, Brenda Sanders and Naijha Wright present...
The Baltimore Vegan Restaurant Week (February 9-18), organized by the The Land of Kush vegan cafe. This multi-neighborhood event increases awareness about and accessibility to vegan foods.
The vegan restaurant week is kicked off by the annual World Vegan Mac 'N Cheese Championship, organized by Thrive Baltimore and PEP Foods on February 10th.
This groundbreaking event not only demonstrates how delicious veganism can be (this year to an expected 4,000 attendees), it also serves as a fundraiser supporting the free vegan classes, cooking demos, and other health-centered programming at the Thrive Baltimore Community Center.
Last but not least, this year Thrive Baltimore will conclude restaurant week hosting a special documentary. Details to be announced, but we can tell you in advance that it's a spectacular film.
