 Recreational to tournament level adult and junior tennis players from all over Connecticut are expected at the Johan Kriek Player Development Workshop Saturday May 9th at Four Seasons Racquet Club in Wilton.
Join Two Time Australian Open Champion Johan Kriek and Four Seasons Tennis Director Greg Moran as they will be hosting two on court instructional clinics: "Mastering The Fundamentals" and “Match Strategy & Tactics”. Players will have the opportunity to sign up for "Mastering The Fundamentals" from 3pm-5:00pm for $85 per person. The final instructional session on "Match Strategy & Tactics" will take place between 5:30pm-7:30pm for $85 per person. The day will wrap with a social and Q&A featuring Kriek with food and refreshments.
Johan Kriek is a member of an elite group of tennis professionals who have multiple Grand Slam singles titles; he is a two-time winner of The Australian Open (1981 and 1982). His all-court game and foot speed carried him to 14 singles and eight doubles titles in his 12-year career on the ATP Tour. Johan was ranked seventh in the world recording wins over Connors, Borg, Vilas, Noah, Agassi, Chang, Stan Smith, Arthur Ashe, John McEnroe, Pat Cash, Mats Wilander, Stefan Edberg and others
