Camp Wise for Seniors!
Not a year goes by that we don’t get approached by an adult who says, “I wish I could go to summer camp!” Camp Wise is a direct response to this and will provide the opportunity for seniors throughout the Diocese to experience camp, some for the first time and for others the opportunity to go to camp again.  Camp Wise is a 4-day experience that invites Seniors (60+) to come and experience highlights of our summer camp program with peers.
When:  August 5-8, 2018
Where:  St. Dorothy’s Rest
Rate:  $400 (partial scholarships are available)
For more information visit St. Dorothy's Rest or talk with Katie Evenbeck.
A letter from the Director of Ahli Arab Hospital
"Your generosity and support is an encouraging reminder of why we started this campaign for the Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza.  It really means a lot to us, and will help purchase the needed orthopaedic surgial tools and equipment that are vitally needed for the proper care of the injured and the victims of the latest conflict in Gaza.  The hospital could not do what it does without the support of caring community like yours"

Meal Train for Deacon Kate
On Wednesday, July 11th, Kate had double knee replacement and is recovering at home.  For now, we are providing dinner three evenings per week. If you would like to help out in this way, please sign up on Meal Trail Please note, the meal delivery time has been changed to 5-6pm.

Recycling for the Food Pantry
Community Market (Hwy 12 in Sebastopol) will redeem CRV containers for about 5 cents per container.  Even though St. Stephen's is no longer collecting recyclables at this time we can all return our CRV bottles and cans for the redemption values and, if we choose, donate that money to the food pantry.

Book & Brunch Club—July
The July selection for the Book And Brunch Club is John Steinbeck’s Travels with Charley in Search of America. "With Charley, his French poodle, Steinbeck drives the interstates and the country roads, dines with truckers, encounters bears at Yellowstone and old friends in San Francisco. Along the way he reflects on the American character, racial hostility, the particular form of American loneliness he finds almost everywhere, and  the unexpected kindness of strangers."  The meeting will be Thursday, July 26, at 11 am in the Parish Hall.
