May 6, 2015
Dear BOBCAT  Nation,

I am excited to announce that we have 357 student-parent-teacher team members following us at SCBobcats on Twitter, Instagram, and/or Facebook.  Our goal is to reach 500 followers by Friday, May 15, 2015. Help us get other BOBCATS connected!

The purpose of adding these three social media platforms to our suite is to ensure that the students, parents, and students always up to date and informed with consistent and accurate information. The information sent out is curated by me and consists of upcoming events, unique bell schedules, and new release items.  While these tools serve as great resources, the School Loop e-mail blasts, the weekly PTSA Newsletter, and All Calls will continue to be used.

Sincerely,
J. César Morales

Library Computer Lab by Ms. Asker, Librarian
The library has 43 desktop computers for student use. They are available for students on a first-come, first-served basis during the hours that the library is open. This includes time before and after school, during lunch and morning break.  These computers are also utilized by teachers giving lessons requiring technology tools during class times.

All students have their own unique username and password to use technology throughout Sage Creek; if you need assistance with your password, library staff are happy to help. Technical support with software, research, formatting, etc. is also available, so please speak up - we’re here to ensure that Sage Creek students have the tools to achieve success.

Dates of ACT & SAT
Parents & Students have asked when the ACT & SAT are, and below are links that provide information:

ACT SAT  PSAT

ACT FAQs     SAT FAQs PSAT FAQs

Most students begin taking the ACT & SAT in the Spring of their Junior Year. Don't forget to register early since most Juniors take the exams then and seats fill up.  The PSAT is typically taken by sophomores & juniors in the Fall.

*In doing an online search, we also found a site (not College Board) that has projected dates of future SAT administrations.  These test date predictions may be helpful for families with incoming Freshman & Sophomores.
