Dear Bobcat Nation,

Mrs Park     It is with absolute joy that I announce that Mrs. Valerie Park is the 2013-14 Sage Creek High School Teacher of the Year!  Mrs. Park’s dedication to the teaching profession is evidenced by her “in it to win it” approach to engaging instructional practices and her high commitment to develop and employ effective academic activities.

As described by one of Mrs. Park’s colleagues, “Mrs. Park has gone above and beyond to make sure that her classroom is an engaging learning environment. She is organized in her curriculum and timely in her feedback to students.”  Additionally, Mrs. Park’s leadership capacities are showcased in her roles as CTE Department Chair and as a member of the School Site Council.  In addition to these two roles, Mrs. Park is the path setter for the implementation of the Biomedical Science program.

Carlsbad Unified School District is fortunate to have Mrs. Valerie Park on the team and the Sage Creek High School community is proud to have her represent the high caliber of teachers we have at our school.

Go Bobcats!
