Next Band Booster Meeting

The next Band Booster meeting will be held on Monday, April 10th at 7:30pm.

NYC Trip Parent Meeting immediately follows the booster meeting.

2017 Commitment Form Due April 21st for Returning Band/Guard Members!!

The North Cobb Marching Band is now registering for the 2017 Fall Season. Reserve your spot by submitting your deposit and signed agreement form by APRIL 21, 2017. All members must be in good financial standing. Returning Members with an outstanding balance over $200.00 as of April 23, 2017 will not be allowed to participate.


A list of students has been turned into the front office for the following:

1.       All seniors that have an outstanding balance

2.       Any underclassmen that have an outstanding balance of $200 or more excluding winterguard participants. Their fees were due by February 10th.


Anyone on this list will NOT be allowed to participate in graduation ceremonies.


You can make payments as follows:

1.       Your student may place a payment in the secured lockbox at the back of the band room

2.       You can mail a payment to: Band Boosters P.O. Box 539, Acworth, GA 30101

3.       You can make a payment via Paypal through the link on the website




Please mark your calendar for May 18th for our first COMMITMENT NIGHT for all 9th through 12th graders who plan on participating in marching band during the 2017/2018 school year! This will replace the MANDATORY parents meeting that is usually held in July during Band Camp. May 18th and 19th are rehearsal nights for all rising 9th graders, current band members,  and upperclassman new to marching band.  This is a perfect time for freshman and upperclassman parents who are new to our band organization to hear about what is going to happen in the late summer and fall for your students. We will go over the summer dates, have intent forms for rising 9th graders, collect marching band fees, have sign-up sheets for all of our committees, get permission slips signed as well as medical forms notarized. We will have several notaries available to help with that process. Your student won’t be able to participate in any activities without a signed permission form and a notarized medical form.  The meeting will be held at 7:00pm in the main cafeteria at North Cobb High School.  We look forward to seeing everyone there and to the start of a successful 2017 marching band season.

May 5        - Concert in the Park (Cauble Park 6:30pm)
May 13      - Band Banquet (Kennesaw 1st Baptist Church 6:30pm)
May 18-19 - Mini-Band Camp (Veterans & New members 5pm-8pm)
