Kristen Caven's Cobbler*

So Friends, what do you think of the animation?  January 2009

Hello friends, how were your holidays? Here's how my year started out...

A Whole New Gig

On 1/21, an important person sat down at an important desk for the first time: my new intern, Caitlin "I've always wanted to be a minion" Ayers. Welcome, Caitlin! Can you schedule me a neck massage? I've got whiplash from this sports-car of a new president. He went from zero to OH MY GOD, DOUBLING THE EDUCATION BUDGET? In just seven days!

Speaking of Gigs

Souls logo lite.jpgIt's busy around here! When Caitlin's not around, Michael is, pounding out new songs on our still-new old parlor piano. If all goes well we'll be hiring some actors and doing a (very un-polished) read-through of Souls on Sunday, March 1st.  Please write me today if you are interested in seeing it at this stage, and/or can help out, volunteer your your living room (piano required), or have an 'in' with a dark theater.

"Blog" is Such an Ugly Word.

It sounds like you're throwing up vocabulary. For years I resisted this new literary form, but lately I've become a regular blog industry there's so much to say. I don't think I have any readers yet, so I invite you to visit, bookmark, and feed* on all or any blogs that suit your tastes.

Football fans, enjoy the last show. Everyone, keep your spirits up!

'til next time,

Kristen
