The Great Land Rush Has Begun

Sunrise Ends and .CLUB Premium Name
Sales Begins!

.CLUB's Sunrise period ended on March 29 and saw the registration of "" names from a broad range of high-profile brands across the globe, including,,,,,, and many more.Sunrise registrations came in from high-profile sports teams, auto manufacturers, major consumer and luxury brands, private clubs and others, clearly representing the broad market appeal of a .CLUB name. Early Sales of .CLUB premium names have also shown high demand among brands, with premium names, and purchased by Mary Kay Cosmetics.

Other sales include, and with landing a price of $17,500.  In the first week after Sunrise ended .CLUB closed close to $500,000 in premium name sales.  Visit SEDO for more .CLUB premium names.

Another .CLUB Asian Tour: Beijing, Macau, Singapore

March was a busy travel month for the .CLUB team, with half the month spent in Asia.  China continues to be a very exciting market for .CLUB, with the word "Club," in English, carrying a lot of meaning and prestige.  Enroute to the ICANN49 meeting in Singapore, we first stopped by both Beijing for Registrar meetings and then Macau for the spectacular Auction Event held by our friends at TLD Registry

Held in the magnificent China Rouge club in the Galaxy Hotel and Casino, the TLD Registry event was a great opportunity to spend quality time with many of the leaders of the domain industry in China. It was also great to participate in the auction itself, where .CLUB was the winning bidder on a lot of Chinese "club" related names.  From Macau we went directly to Singapore for a very busy ICANN meeting.  Stay tuned for more global travel by the .CLUB team.

USA 53 NCBS Show Vegas

 Night.CLUB & Bar Show

.CLUB domains met with various club owners and night club marketers at the recent Night Club and Bar Show held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from the 24th to the 26th of March. NCBS is biggest night club show in the world and had visitors from over 28 countries. The show had more than 37,000+ attendees ranging from event planners, club owners, employees promoters and their vendors. 

Many club owners showed interest in setting up a .CLUB name for their venue. DJ's as well as musicians expressed interest in setting up their own .CLUB websites for their community of fans.  More importantly, the show itself was one big PARTY!

During the Sunrise and Land Rush periods, our focus has been heavily on informing brands and Trademark holders about the benefits of registering their respective names.  With that in mind the .CLUB team has been on the road almost constantly to meet with brands and brand marketers and invite them to join the .CLUB.  One of the most attended marketing events of the year is the annual South By Southwest (SXSW) conference in Austin, Texas.  

A massive event that literally consumes all of downtown Austin and it’s immediate environs, the “Interactive” portion of SXSW attracts every imaginable digital marketer from major brands to struggling startups.  Heralded as “Spring Break for Geeks,” SXSW is non-stop marketing mayhem.  So how could we resist?

Since .CLUB is a global brand, marketing and advertising the .CLUB gTLD in the wide European market is very crucial. To help support us in this process we have Felix Waltenberger from Frankfurt, Germany on our marketing team. He communicates with our European registrars and assists them on the on-boarding process with the .CLUB registry. Felix is also involved in managing many of our ad campaigns as well as maintaining our registry website. Felix has previous experience in media and customer relations project management.
