We are counting down to the upcoming Fashion Show on March 19th....approximately 2 weeks away! Save the date to join us for our annual showcase and fundraiser where students are demonstrating their talents as well as modeling the latest fashions for spring and for the prom season. Please invite family and friends to join us and support the school and the various programs that proceeds from the event will be funding.
Tickets Sold At the Door: $10 adults, $5 students, $15 VIP limited reserved seating.
Interested in sponsoring an ad in our show program? There's still time. Deadline extended to Friday, March 6th. Get your shout outs and ads in as soon as possible. Costs range from a $10 shout out up to $100 for a full page sponsorship. See attached flyer for more details.

Westhill High School Field Hockey Coach Kevin DeAngelo was chosen
by his peers and has been named by the Fairfield County Interscholastic
Athletic Conference (FCIAC), “Coach of the Year,” in Field Hockey. Kevin has
been coaching WHS Field Hockey for 10 years, the past three as Varsity
Head Coach. Under his leadership the team was 10-4-1 this past season and
received the Lucy Goodrich Sportsmanship Award, which is given by officials
to the team that demonstrates the fundamental values of respect, fairness,
honesty, and responsibility. Kevin has also served as the assistant Track and
Field Coach for the past 10 years and for two years as the Ski Racing Team
Coach. He will receive his award at the FCIAC Annual Awards Program in

The senior class dues can be paid by seeing Ms. Dunbar in Room 215 (Last names A-L) or by seeing Mrs. Kumar in Room 106 (Last names L-Z) before or after school, or by dropping off a completed form and FULL payment in their mailbox in the main office. The Yearbook order form is also included if you would like to pay them together.
The first document is an explanation of our scholarship program. The second is the application form. If you want to participate in this program, fill out the application and submit it, along with a resume, to your Counselor.
Financial Aid Appointments
For those seniors who have financial aid appointments on Monday with Ms. Blackwell please note the following message from Ms. Blackwell:

Please remind students that the parents date of birth and date married or divorced will not be listed on the IRS TAX form
If the student has a green card bring it or bring your green card number.
Students should bring their list of colleges they are applying to on paper, we do not have enough time for each student to look it up on the computer.
If all of the above is ready when we start the FAFSA., we should be able to process 2 within ½ hour.

Stamford Dollars for Scholars announces the online availability of its 2015 scholarship application beginning January 15th. The organization provides scholarships for students who live in or attend high school in Stamford and are pursuing full-time, either a two- or four-year college education or accredited vocational training.
Students completing the 2015 online application have the opportunity to apply for any Stamford Dollars for Scholars scholarships for which they meet the criteria. Additionally, as Stamford Dollars for Scholars is an affiliate of Scholarship America, applicants automatically gain access to Scholarship America's valuable resources and can search other relevant scholarships opportunities.

Please help the WPTSO feed over 25 students through the weekly Backpack Program. We fill backpacks with donated food every Friday and students at risk of going hungry over the weekend pick them up and return them empty Monday morning. Please consider donating non-perishables which you or your student can drop off in the main office.
