Stamford Public Education Foundation is seeking volunteers to help prepare Westhill students for success after high school. Success Plan Workshops help students develop plans for their future through Naviance, a user-friendly online college and career planning tool used by 7,500 Stamford students in grades six through twelve. SPEF provides volunteers with step-by-step guides to activities that will be worked on at each session. Activities include but are not limited to creating college essays, creating game plans, college searches, scholarship searches, career searches. Volunteers will likely work with a different student at each of the sessions. Sessions take place on Thursdays from 1:15-2:00pm, and there are 4 sessions left in this school year on March 31st, April 14th, April 28th, and May 5th. If you are interested in volunteering, or if you would like more information, contact Cindy Newman at 203-965-7733 or at cnewman@spefct.org.

AP EXAMS are May 2 - 13

Taking the Advanced Placement exams is an important part of all AP courses.  Westhill High School recommends that all students take AP exams for the AP classes that they have taken.  Scoring well on an AP exam can often earn students college credits for their high school class, saving a significant

 amount on college tuition.
