AP EXAMS are May 2 - 13

Taking the Advanced Placement exams is an important part of all AP courses.  Westhill High School recommends that all students take AP exams for the AP classes that they have taken.  Scoring well on an AP exam can often earn students college credits for their high school class, saving a significant

 amount on college tuition.

SOCIAL MEDIA, SEXTING AND
OUR CHILDREN
WHAT PARENTS NEED TO KNOW

vip_ne1Dolan Middle School's PFO cordially invites parents and guardians of Stamford to join us in a presentation about Social Media, Sexting and Our Children – What Parents Need to Know on Wednesday, March 2nd from 7pm-8pm in the Dolan Auditorium, 51 Toms Road (please enter through the back door of the school). Our children and teenagers are exposed to far more content on the internet than they can handle on their own, and parents need to step in to guide the way. THIS PRESENTATION IS FOR ADULTS ONLY. The presentation will arm participants with an overview on information of popular social media and how kids are using it, as well as the intersection between social media, sexual harassment, and sexual assault. Sexting (what it is, why kids are doing it, and its social, emotional, and legal ramifications) will be covered in detail. Led by staff from The Center for Sexual Assault Crisis Counseling & Education, parents will walk away from this discussion with tips on how to have proactive discussions around a challenging topic to keep their children safe.
