Dear friends, supporters and blushing brides,
It's been a long, long time... but not without good reasons! We've had a busy summer. Cathy played a masterclass with renowned flautist, Peter Lloyd. We performed at some incredibly beautiful weddings this summer and biggest news: Nathalie got hitched to her drummer! It was officiated by our favourite wedding officiant, Jeremy Citron. Music was abundant, from Joy Lapps' steel pan, to the Joe Sealy jazz trio, and many of you are probably wondering how she managed to play harp and walk up the aisle at the same time. The answer is... she didn't! The stunning voice of Mezzo Soprano Brenna Conrad and her favourite flutist, Cathy, ushered me in.
Not to be upstaged, Cathy broke her foot this summer and has been practicing her breathing while patiently waiting to be on the mend. After almost three months, she is finally free of her cast. Come to one of our upcoming concerts and guess which foot was broken!
Speaking of upcoming events, we are excited to be performing again in the Celtic Christmas Concert for St. Paul's United Church.
