Imagine.
Right before my 44th birthday earlier this month, a very wise woman asked me, "How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are?" I loved that question, because I realized if I didn't know how old I was, some days I might wear short skirts with glee and roll down grassy hills while giggling. Other days I might be wrapped in the coziest blanket I have, sitting all day in a chair by the window. If I didn't know how old I was, I wouldn't be able to tell myself "It's too late; You missed the boat." I would wake up each day, with a sense of possibility alive in me. I would go where my mind and heart and energy wanted to go -- because I would have all the time in the world. If you didn't know how old you are, what would you do today? What would you dream?
Each breath really is a new beginning of the rest of our lives.
