La Dolce Vita is a true celebration of the best in Italian lifestyle! So we created designs with some Italian flair for the two required stages - a classic catwalk and a small music stage.
We also provided all production management, crew and equipment for La Dolce Vita.

In Store at Blue Water In store Show at John Lewis, Blue Water Shopping Centre, May 2008
Following on from our in-store fashion show success at Brent Cross shopping centre, we were asked for a repeat performance at the Blue Water centre in Kent.
In true Congo Blue Design style, we provided the whole package including crew, staging, set and basic audio equipment.

Sparks on the 4th Floor Sparks Fashion Show,Café Royal London, May 2008
Once again it was a privilege to work for Sparks - the childrens' charity that is supported by sports and entertainment personalities. This year's fashion show was held at London's Café Royal - but on the 4th floor!
So this was very much in mind when we created our designs for the show, which was built, rehearsed, run and broken down all in a single day.

Secret Nuptials for Jamelia The Wedding of Jamelia and Darren Byfield - Eastlands Estate, June 2008
We all like a good wedding, but when a celebrity is involved, so do the Press. Singer Jamelia was determined to keep her recent wedding to footballer Darren Byfield a secret except to her invited guests. The location was a closely guarded secret until the last moment - which meant another quick turnaround for Congo Blue, who were invited to supply sound systems for three areas at the event at Eastlands Estate in West Sussex.
Meanwhile, the celebrity media were elsewhere on the day, covering the marriage of a certain Wayne and Coleen!

Projecting Prestige Royal Ascot Fashion Show, June 2008
We were back at Royal Ascot in June for the second annual Fashion Show, providing the set, sound, lighting and a high-powered projector to work in a very bright venue.

Westwood Design is Academic King's College Gowns by Vivienne Westwood, The Great Hall, Strand Campas July 2008
Vivienne Westwood maybe a household name in the fashion world, but even my dad knew who she was when I told him about this project!
Congo Blue were asked to design and equip a catwalk event at King's College, showcasing Dame Vivienne's new designs for the College's academic gowns.
