President’s Message
December, 2011
Soon the year will be gone and yet another year is on the
horizon. This year your Board of
Directors dealt with several challenges; presented a fantastic training
conference in Reno, celebrated 25 years of service to Law Enforcement &
Corrections and therefore to the communities we serve. We ventured into the
field of grant writing and hired a grant writer to help us secure funds for
training and operational expenses.
Truly a full plate.
Sadly, 2011 also heard us say good-bye to several good
friends, team members and mentors. These
brothers and sisters gave of themselves to assist WSHNA fulfill its mission of
providing quality training at an affordable price. Our friends will be missed.
With the New Year rising in the distance, we are an
association prepared to move forward and continue to be the leaders in our
field, providing training to those who are new to our art and learning from the
experiences of those who have served our communities well for many years.
Until next year, Merry Christmas & a Happy & Safe New
Year.
Sincerely,
Harry
Harry W. Dixon,
President
