With the elections over, you may be wondering what is next for Quality Bainbridge?
We formed for two reasons:
Now that we have been successful in helping good candidates get elected, we’ll focus our efforts on providing factual information regarding various Island public agencies and organizations. There is a lot going on in various groups here and it can be difficult to keep track of all the issues.
Our hope is to inform ourselves and our readers in a way that allows us to have a deeper understanding of key issues when we act and vote. We don’t intend to compete with the news reporting resources on our island, but rather to become a go-to source for facts about the issues that are or will soon be facing our community.
Here are some of the issues we may explore:
Persons with expertise in various areas of interest to our citizens may submit or be invited to submit articles exploring these topics. Stories submitted will be reviewed by the Quality Bainbridge Editorial Committee and published if they fit our mission. We will also continue to work with our elected officials to promote the values that are important to the majority of our citizens.
We hope you will stay with us -- reading our eNewsletters, visiting our website and checking our Facebook page -- as we move into the next phase of Quality Bainbridge.
With hope and optimism,
The Steering Committee of Quality Bainbridge
