The Band to VG Blog  Dr. Cirangle will be coming out soon with his data on adjustable gastric bands (Lap-Band and Realize Band) to vertical sleeve gastrectomy conversions. LapSF Before & After Picture Contest!  LapSF is sponsoring the 1st Annual "I Don't Need a Costume" contest. Submit your before and after weight loss surgery pictures, as well as a short summary (1 paragraph maximum) of your experience for a chance to win a $100 VISA debit card. We will be picking 4 patients at random and announcing the winners on Halloween! Please submit your photos and story to weightloss@lapsf.com by 10/27 for your chance to win. Special Guest in San Jose  As listed below, we will have Sierra Simmons, a certified personal trainer come to the San Jose Support Group on October 20th. She is NASM, NCSF, and TRX certified and will be showing patients how to start a non-intimidating exercise routine. Sierra is also looking for ideas to run WLS patient-only exercise classes. Her presentation will start at 7pm. Be there to check it out and learn something new!
