Image Getting Back on Track: Tips from Tara Griffith, MFT

Successful weight loss surgery patients rely on strategies to keep their weight loss and maintenance goals on track.

Tip #1
Go back to basics: Think about the way you ate and exercised right after your surgery. Have you kept those habits going? Returning to your initial post-op behavior can kick-start your weight loss.

Tip #2
Be proactive: Do you know when you are eating next and when you will be exercising tomorrow? If not, begin to establish a routine for your meals and fitness plan so life's stressors don't throw you off track.
