Action Collabs
Action Collabs are an integrative approach to learning and discovery. They are small high-energy workshops that engage participants to think and act in ways that anchor and expand how we think about solving tough problems in education. Action Collabs focus on inventive ways to break down educational challenges and gives participants tools and exercises to brainstorm and develop viable solutions at school, state, and national levels.
Roadtrip Nation
Roadtrip Nation students from the South San Francisco High School AVID program will be on hand interviewing Big Ideas Fest participants about how they defined their own roads in life. Feel free to peak your head in the door and experience Roadtrip Nation.
The Media Lounge
Create, mix, and share. The Big Ideas Fest Media Lounge, open throughout the event, is where you can record interviews, edit video, upload photos, blog, compose music, and produce your digital Big Ideas declarations and stories. Open all morning, all day, and after hours for your I/O and networking pleasures!

Many of our own strategic initiatives for 21st century learning correspond to what you are doing there, and we are excited about making new contacts with organizations like ISKME to partner on these goals.
It's an opportunity to get outside of my usual zone and meet with people I would not likely get a chance to talk to.
Big Ideas in Motion
Through the years, we've all come up with big ideas. Incentives have been used to move mountains, and fast. Here at ISKME, one of our big ideas is to design incentives used to catapult innovation and change in education. How can we use collaboration and innovation to catalyze innovation from the inside out? Participants at the Big Ideas Fest will collaborate on designing opportunities and program targets for an array of incentive prizes for education.
