Kids' Month at MMCTV

July will be focused on educational programs. First, the week of July 11th, MMCTV staff will hold a workshop for the youngsters at Our Community Cares Camp, at Camels Hump Middle School.

Then the week of July 18th, we'll be helping Boy Scouts from Troop 627 get their moviemaking and animation merit badges.

Finally, there is the 2nd Annual TV Camp for middle school students at MMCTV and the Richmond Free Library, July 24-29th.
Spaces have filled up for the camp.

Cool July 4th

MMCTV made  friends at this year's circus-themed Richmond July 4th Parade by handing out 240 free popsicles. Our camera crew at the event included Cameron Thomas, Russell Griffin and intern Christian Boutin.

You can watch the parade here.

Thanks to our neighbors at Arabesque, Etc. Dance, who provided the freezer for the pops! Here's a like to their amazing Mother Goose Remixed show, recently edited at MMCTV.

The Jericho Energy Task Force recently held an event at the Deborah Rawson Memorial Library on the new Zero Energy Now program. Volunteer (and former MMCTV videographer) Jim Dunn was on hand to record the event.

Our staff previously recorded the unveiling of the program in Richmond. We are also looking forward to some MMCTV energy tips from Chuck Reiss, who has kindly offered to stop by MMCTV's studio and offer suggestions.
