Man of Letters

In the age of texting, has your handwriting gone south? Then you need to tune in for "Flourish and Blots," with Richmond calligrapher Chris Carfaro. He's crafting a series of ten instructional videos at MMCTV that aim to breath a new life into the lost art of penmanship.

The series, scheduled to debut later this month, will be  accompanied by an exhibit at MMCTV of Carfaro's beautiful creations.

Cuban Bridge Hits 50

It seems like just yesterday DJ/Producer Tony Basanta (R, on motorcycle) walked into our studio presenting his idea for a new series focusing on Cuban and Vermont music.

On Tues. Jan. 26th, at 6.30pm, he'll be hosting his 50th such episode LIVE, featuring Rich Davidian (far R) and the Vermont Jazz Ensemble. It should be a fun show for both our staff and our viewers; tune in and start tapping your toes.
