Camping out with MMCTV
Next week (Aug. 17-21) our station will be filled with 8 middle-school filmmakers, for MMCTV's first-ever video camp.

The campers will recreate classic music scenes and make news reports, music videos and public service announcements.
Downtown Richmond will be their canvas!

The public is invited to the final screening of the campers' works on Friday, August 21st at 2pm at the Richmond Free Library, which is kindly hosting the camp this year.

          Cooing with Cooie
MMCTV is proud to support the music at the Richmond Farmers Market. This year we are sponsoring the performance of Cooie (L) on Friday August 21 at 5pm.

Other performances captured by filmmaker Arthur Hynes for MMCTV earlier this summer include Cricket Blue, The Dan Johnson Band, The Front Porch Foursome, The Swing Peepers and Steve Spensely.

Happy Birthday, Cuban Bridge!
MMCTV series The Cuban Bridge with Tony Basanta turns three this month. We are celebrating with episode 42, featuring the Jake Whitesell Quartet at the Discover Jazz Festival and a great live show, episode 41, with Tony Pietricola, Andy Smith and Bob Gagnon.

Gardeners' Delights
Two Towns Online, the Jericho and Underhill community web portal, is the force behind the series Two Towns Garden Tour.

A few weeks ago, MMCTV's Angelike Contis & Matthew Pawlowski headed to Cilley Hill Road to film Betsy Wilder's amazing garden for episode #8.

Her beautiful botanical creations hit the little screen soon.

Building Community
MMCTV's commitment to helping other non-profits includes our Poets & Their Craft lecture series (now on episode 7 out of 10), with works-in-progress about Our Community Cares Camp and Protect our Wildlife.

Look for MMCTV on Wed. Aug. 19th at 7pm for an informative program entilted "Lyme Disease & Other Tick Borne illnesses" at the Richmond Free Library. We'll be making a video about the topic.
