Thank you for #GivingMindfulness

As part of #GivingTuesday, we set out on an ambitious goal: to give a holiday card to every incarcerated youth in the Bay Area. We asked our supporters to mail us handwritten cards answering the question: “when you’re in a hard place, how do you free your mind?”

Over the last month, we received over 500 cards! And because of the generosity of our growing community, we delivered a holiday card to every incarcerated youth in the Bay Area.

Last week, youth in Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, San Mateo, San Francisco, and Marin read heartfelt messages written by people from around the country. Thank you for brightening the holidays for incarcerated youth!

A Message from Co-founder Noah Levine

As a teenager, Noah Levine was incarcerated repeatedly. Meditation transformed Noah, and after practicing it for over five years, he wanted to equip other at-risk youth with the same tool that helped him.

We believe that youth deserve the tools to find freedom within. In order for incarcerated and at-risk youth to have access to those tools, we need your support this holiday season. Please join us as we empower youth through mindfulness meditation by making a donation today.
