For nearly one hundred years, the Gothic-style Long Memorial Methodist Church stood as a beautiful reminder of Cordova’s historic past. In a matter of minutes last April, it was reduced to rubble and memories.
In our Spring 2012 issue, we took you to the historic landmarks that were hardest hit in the catastrophic storms of 2011. We know you will want to share this story with your friends and family. As the storm affected all of us, so too should we all be able to read and reflect on the tragedy and triumph that our state’s historic landmarks experienced.
