(** denotes volunteer opportunities)

Calvary Lutheran, Northwood and Pastor Bob Noble is acting as home base for the Lutheran response efforts in the three-county area:

The church will be open 10am - 4pm for Spiritual and Emotional Support for families and volunteers.

**Opportunities are available to become a trained volunteer - lay AND clergy are welcome - to meet with, talk with, and simply "be with" people who come in for support. Space is currently available at Calvary and an alternate site will be available starting on Friday, June 11th at Black Swamp Quilt Shop, 1535 Woodville Road, Milbury, OH.

Staffing at both locations is critical.

The church will be open everyday from 9am - 8pm to collect donations and to act as a resource center for both families in need and volunteers.

**the church needs volunteers to help staff these hours throughout the day and evening

Donations are being accepted at Calvary. Items most needed are water bottles, nutrition bars and snack items to be taken out to volunteers.
- Calvary thanks a UCC church from Tennessee which sent a semi full of donations today!

**To volunteer please contact Pastor Bob Noble at 419.215.5394 or drop in at Calvary Lutheran and sign up!!!

There are two opportunities for Cash Donations - Calvary, St. John's Stony Ridge and Zion, Perrysburg (Latcha) have set up a Thrivent Fund for donations that will be MATCHED and used immediately for short-term needs that arise. Donations can be sent to Calvary Lutheran Church, 1930 Bradner Road, Northwood, OH 43619, please note "Tornado Response" on the check.

The NWOSynod has received a $5,000 grant that will be combined with other designated relief dollars and donations that come in for longer term relief efforts. If you wish to donate to this fund, please send checks with the "Tornado Response" designation to NWOS 621 Bright Road, Findlay, OH 45840 - these dollars will support local families of the NWOS who have been affected by the disaster and will supply needed dollars for items not covered by FEMA or other emergency funds. You may also call the office for more information 419.423.3664.
