Butterflies of Houston by John and Gloria Tveten is a great book for identifying butterflies in this area. Great to bring with you!

Legacy Land Trust, along with the Butterfly Enthusiasts of SE Texas, will host our 6th annual butterfly count this Saturday at the Montgomery County Preserve at 10 a.m. (visit www.LLT.org for a map of the preserve)

This is a wonderful way to be introduced to the various beautiful butterfly species in the Houston area. And learn about nectar and caterpillar host plants that you can grow in your own yard.

This event is open to any age and we welcome families. Long pants and closed-toe shoes recommended.

- RSVP for this Event -

In order to ensure we have enough guides, please contact us by Thursday, May 29th to secure a spot. 713-524-2100 or info@LLT.org.
