Spectacular All-Star Lineup!
We
are really, really excited about this year’s incredible lineup! We feel
it’s pretty close to perfect, with an excellent mix that runs from
Old-time to Newgrass and everything in between. Here’s who’s playing: For those of you who have been away or just out of the loop, Grey Fox has a new home. Yep, the Rothvoss Farm was sold in January, and we were homeless for about a month. But our trusty search party went into high gear and found us a great new site on the Walsh Farm in Oak Hill, NY. We’re now nestled in Greene County’s beautiful Catskill Mountain region—in the area dubbed the “Irish Alps.”
The Walsh Farm is a level, 200-acre hay farm bordered on three sides by sparkling mountain creeks and shady woods—with a gently sloping, natural amphitheater where the Main Stage will be located. Camping at Grey Fox will be quite a switch for all you Grey Fox die-hards. The entire camping area is LEVEL, which means no more waking up all crunched up in the downhill corner of your tent. Imagine that! There are woods that are ‘tent friendly’ and plenty of treeline, too.
For those of you who want a real bed, there are dozens of hotels, motels, B&Bs, resorts and full-service campgrounds nearby. Browse our lodging pages, log onto Greene County Tourism or call them at 800-355-CATS. Ask for a travel guide & tell them you’re coming to Grey Fox!
