Client Testimonial of the Month
"Jesse Kalisher and his team provide excellent customer service throughout the design, purchasing, production and delivery process. They provide much better attention to detail than many of their larger competitors and they really care about the product and how it fits with the project as a whole. They have exceeded our expectations on every project in terms of quality of product and service and have resolved any issues with the minimum of disruption and fuss. I recommend them without hesitation."
— Mike Zimmerman, Project Manager, The Olympia Companies

Free Use of Jesse's Images for Marketing!
If your purchase of guest room artwork includes a custom shoot, you now have the ability to use three of the images Jesse captures for use in your marketing materials. This means you can now use Jesse's images for PR or advertising on the web or in print and at no additional cost.
The pricing for properties purchasing 300 framed pieces or more is competitive with purchasing standard framed poster art. Which is why, we believe, this program has been so successful. Have a property that wants custom location photography gracing it's guest rooms and public spaces? Contact Margaret or Shelly @ (919) 967-4300 and ask them what we can do for you.

Praise from New York Gallery Owner
New York Gallery Owner Michael Foley writes about Jesse's collection, "Around the World in 89 Photographs." He says, " Jesse has what I would call a large vision in life. What distinguishes one photographer from the next ... is a vision of life, the way we creatively interpret the world so that it makes sense for us. Around the World in 89 Photographs. The very title tells us that we are in for an adventure, that each photograph will be a corner to turn, likely into an unfamiliar world."

Half the Sky
"I was an only child and my mother, a single mom. Largely as a result, I grew up without a sense of distinct gender roles. This never helped much in dating (for instance, I never understood why I was meant to pay the entire check), but it did leave me believing to my core that men and women are equal. In 2001/02, Helen and I traveled in the Middle East, North and East Africa and India. I was stunned and depressed by the the second-class lives of women in most of the countries we visited. Having seen this first hand, I was then ashamed that there had never been an international movement to free women from the apartheid thrust upon them. "Women hold up half the sky," is an old saying and is now the inspiration for the title of a best-selling book by Nicholas Kristoff and Sheryl WuDunn. Their book delves into detail what I witnessed on the surface in my travels and is our newest best hope to bring attention and subsequently real change to the plight of women in developing countries. This collection of photographs is a tribute to my mom, Ilse Kalisher, to my wife Helen and to my daughter Tamar. It's my view of the divergent lives that women lead today. It's my pebble in the pond. It's my contribution to Half the Sky."
