Rachael Ray visits The Kalishers in 2003
When Helen and Jesse lived in San Francisco a local television station asked if Rachael Ray could cook breakfast for them as part of a morning show segment. "We don't watch television," Jesse said, "so we had no idea who Rachael Ray was back then." Suffice it to say, Jesse and Helen report that the meal was delicious and Rachael was delightful. Pictured here along with Helen, Jesse and Rachael is the morning news reporter who anchored the segment which was aired live from their apartment in 2003.

Jesse to Teach New North Carolina Photography Workshop
We are putting the finishing touches on a North Carolina workshop that Jesse will teach here, with the gallery as the base of operations. The workshop will last 5 days (M-F), be limited to 9 participants and cost $1,500 for the week. We're hoping to clear two weeks on Jesse's calendar for this, one week during the summer and one in the fall. If you want to be among the first to receive the info packet when it's available, please email sarah@kalisher.com and put the word "Workshop" in the subject line. |

Gibraltar
It took a while, but here are the wonderful pictures Jesse took in Gibraltar last summer. "We had to go, of course," Jesse said, pointing out that Helen is British. "The rock itself is impressive," Jesse said, "and I was certainly lucky to get a remarkable sky to work with once I got to the top of Gibraltar."
