Now Your Dog Can Dine in Style, Too
May 6, 2010
New York designer Sandy Chilewich, whose contemporary textiles dress the tables
in homes and restaurants around the world, has created a sturdy, chic placemat
(finally!) for under those pesky pet-food bowls. Shaped like a bone, the mats
have a cushioned, pliable, non-skid, polyurethane backing, protecting your
floor.
Each mat features a puppy cutout in the center (you get to keep the
cute cut out!) and are available in Chestnut, Lemon, Mango, Lime, and Platinum basketweave, a signature textile from Chilewich, and are water resistant, easy
to care for, and will look great for years.
Designer bio: Sandy Chilewich
introduced her first modern, woven-vinyl textiles into the international design
community over 10 years ago. Each year, her collection grows due to her
tireless experimentation with manufacturing techniques and passion for the
intrinsic beauty and functionality of this material. She now produces a range
of products utilizing her innovative textiles, including table and floor
coverings, as well as home and personal accessories. Chilewich has
unquestionably redefined how the world dresses their tables in homes and
restaurants. These often imitated, but never replicated products, made
exclusively in the USA, are recognized internationally for their design, ease
of care, and durability. Chilewich products are sold in better stores and dress
the tables of the finest restaurants around the world. Patent pending. Made in USA.
