Vegan Kombucha Ice Cream Float
Here at the VegNews Recipe Club, sometimes we just want some classic sweets, which explains why we’re loving this root-beer style float from Julie Morris’ brand-new Superfood Snacks. With a simple list of just five ingredients, this bubbly treat will satisfy your sweet cravings as summer winds down along with our desire for cool, refreshing beverages. All you need to do is combine kombucha, vanilla, stevia, raspberries, and ice cream for a luxurious indulgence that’s too good to pass up.

Serves 1
What You Need:

1 cup unflavored kombucha
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
5 drops liquid stevia
1/3 cup frozen raspberries
1⁄3 cup your favorite non-dairy chocolate or vanilla ice cream

What You Do:

1. In a measuring cup with a spout, stir together kombucha, vanilla, and stevia.

2. In a 16-ounce serving glass or mason jar, place a spoonful of raspberries followed by a spoonful of cacao ice cream, and layer each of these ingredients about 4 times. Slowly pour in the kombucha mixture—it will foam up immediately but settle quickly. Enjoy this ice cream float immediately!
